We had a comfortable and warm overnight stay on New Year's Eve with a great view of the adjacent Waveney river. The room was very clean with all facilities and ample parking, just a few minutes walk from the town centre. We will definitely come back again.

Although I didn't stay here, I had a meal in the restaurant and found all the food to be amazing. The brisket was probably one of the best meals I have ever had. I will definitely be back.

I stayed for 2 nights while visiting family in the area. The room was comfortable with good facilities and very quiet. The hotel is located very near the town centre with car parking and in a very attractive spot on the bank of the River Waveney. I only had breakfast there, which was very nice and freshly cooked, with friendly staff.

We went for a morning coffee at the hotel restaurant, where they had self-service for coffee and we ordered at the bar. We sat outside on a table at the River Waveney terrace, enjoying the delicious coffee and biscuit with a wonderful view.

I have eaten here many times as it is local to me. The food is always of good quality. This time, we both had the fish slate and it was well presented, tasty, and very filling! As always, it is good value with a nice clean environment and helpful staff. There is a range of seating available inside or outside (bistro style tables) by the river.

The location was lovely, dining by the river on an outside table with great food. The service was a little slow, but there were only 3 waitresses and the place was full. The waitresses were lovely, very polite, and professional, considering they were rushed off their feet. However, our beer and coffee took 35 minutes to arrive after our meal.

This was one of our best hotel experiences ever. Amy was brilliant when I booked and then changed the booking - she really went out of her way to make sure we were able to book what we needed. The hotel was bright and clean, and our room, up in the roof, had a lovely view and everything we could need. All the staff were excellent - friendly, professional, and nothing was too much trouble. Special mentions for Marie, Zoe, Sam, and James. An extra special mention for Georgia, who calmly solved our taxi problem with a smile and was just generally lovely (clearly deserving of a pay rise!). If we are ever back in Beccles, we would definitely book again. Many thanks to all for making our stay so good.

This is a nice hotel set on the river. I only visited for the evening, so I can't say too much as we weren't there for long. The bar service was quite slow at the function, with only one person serving most of the evening. However, the buffet was nice.
